Mark K. Kovack concentrates his practice in the area of general civil litigation, including commercial and business litigation, real estate litigation, products liability, personal injury law, construction litigation, employment law, alternative dispute resolution (including arbitration and mediation), landlord-tenant, probate litigation, and appeals. Admitted to practice in Connecticut state and federal courts, as well as the United States Second Circuit of Appeals, Mr. Kovack is a member of the Fairfield County, Connecticut and American Bar Associations, as well as the Connecticut Trial Lawyers' Association and the American Association for Justice. Mr. Kowack serves as a court appointed "Special Master" to mediate disputes in litigation, and offers alternative dispute resolution (ADR) services as an arbitrator and mediator. Mr. Kovack participated in extensive arbitration training with the International Institute for Conflict Prevention and Resolution.

Mr. Kovack joined the firm as a partner in 2000. He is a graduate of Albany Law School of Union University (J.D., cum laude, 1985), where he was a member of the Albany Law Review and the Justinian Society. Mr Kovack received his undergraduate degree from St. Lawrence University (B.A., magna cum laude, 1982), where he was elected to the Phi Betta Kappa and Pi Sigma Alpha honorary societies.

Mr. Kovack was a founding Secretary and Director of the Rainbow Club, Inc., a not-for-profit corporation which sponsors a summer program for children with diabetes in their lives. Mr. Kovack is also active in community affairs in his hometown of Ridgefield, where he is a member of the Ridgefield Chamber of Commerce, served as the President and Vice-President of the Ridgefield High School Girls' Softball Booster Club, and coached soccer, basketball, and softball.
